Trading futures is risky

TiltLab is not advice

TiltLab is software for practice, preparation, journaling and self-review. It is not a broker, adviser or commodity trading advisor and does not place trades. Mentors, co-pilot warnings, Trader DNA insights, drills, AI explanations, Floor posts and Marketplace mentors are educational and informational. None of them is a recommendation to trade or takes your personal circumstances into account. Every trading decision is yours.

Past and hypothetical performance

Past performance, whether actual or hypothetical, is not indicative of future results. Many features of TiltLab show hypothetical or simulated results: replay sessions, drill scores, backtests, MyMentor tests (including in-sample and out-of-sample splits), mentor alert outcomes and Marketplace track records. These results:

CFTC Rule 4.41 disclaimer

Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, since the trades have not been executed, the results may have under-or-over compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profit or losses similar to those shown.

Marketplace mentors and verified records

Marketplace mentors are built by independent creators, not by us. A "verified" record means the alerts and outcomes were logged in a signed ledger and evaluated by our systems against market prices, so they haven't been edited after the fact. It does not mean the alerts were real trades, that the mentor is good, that the creator is qualified, or that future alerts will perform the same way. A strategy can stop working at any time. Subscribing to a mentor is not investment advice, and you remain responsible for any trade you take.

The Floor

Calls and messages on the Trading floor are other users' opinions. Scorecards show the recorded outcome of past calls, scored against price, but they don't include real fills or costs, and a strong scorecard doesn't predict future calls. Be wary of anyone who asks for money, account access or off-platform contact.

AI features

AI explanations are generated automatically by third-party language models. They can be wrong, made up, out of date or inconsistent, including about prices, levels, news and your own statistics. Don't use AI output as the basis for a trade.

Behaviour insights and warnings

Trader DNA and co-pilot warnings are statistical summaries of your own history. With little data they can be misleading, and patterns from the past may not continue. A warning that doesn't appear doesn't mean a trade is safe. The co-pilot can't stop you from trading and isn't a substitute for your own risk management.

Prop-firm accounts

Protect estimates your remaining room from the limits you enter and the data available to the app. Proprietary trading firms set and change their own rules, calculate drawdown in different ways and may use different data. Your firm's dashboard is always authoritative. We are not affiliated with any prop firm and are not responsible for failed evaluations, rule breaches or lost payouts.

Technology and data

Software, internet connections, data feeds, NinjaTrader, brokers and our servers can fail, lag or show incorrect data. Alerts and warnings can be late, wrong or missing. Always confirm positions, orders and balances directly in your trading platform and with your broker, and have a plan for losing your connection mid-trade.
